Monday, December 31, 2012 - BV Georges Latour is one of my favorite Napa Cabs. However, in spite of Tapestry's absolutely intoxicating nose, this wine seems way too jammy for my personal taste. There's plenty of black and red currant, ripe plum, vanilla, cherry and blackberry, all the ingredients for an appealing wine; however, it's all primary fruit without any complexity. This will be a crowd pleaser for many but to me it's an over priced fruit bomb.
