Saturday, August 21, 2021 - Lush and ripe black and blue fruit on the palate, blackberry, plum, cassis with a hint of forest floor and a touch of Rutherford dust. A rich and rewarding Cabernet. Full bodied yet with some of the layers of a left bank Bordeaux. Strong tannic backbone still. My preferred style leans a bit more toward the fruit forward profile of Freemark’s Bosche vineyard but this was very good.
