Monday, January 25, 2021 - Slo-oxed for ~15 minutes. The wine was a clear purple with fading to the rim. The nose put forth plenty of dark red fruits (dark cherry) along with a modest amount of earth. On the palate the wine showed medium plus body, with gobs of red and black cherries, some earth, some spice, sufficient acidity to balance, a touch of cola, and nicely integrated tannins. The wine could last another couple of years, but is highly enjoyable now.
