Thursday, April 27, 2017 - Decanted for 90 minutes. Lots of earth and funk on the nose and on the initial taste. This partially burned off during the evening. Blackberry and other dark fruit along with hints of meat (bacon?) and a touch of vanilla slowly emerged in our last pour. Very interesting syrah. 90-91.
