Friday, May 29, 2020 - Deep dark center, dark red rim with some modest signs of age.
Rich nose of sweet pipe tobacco, plums, black raspberries, and green peppers, touch of barnyard, tapenade and some ash.
Smooth and complex, a little primary, black cherries and plums, toasted oak, good tannin and acidity, great length of red fruits with supporting oak.
Excellent, but will be better in a couple of years.
