Monday, September 26, 2022 - I feel like this could have gone a while yet, and even improved. Nose tight still - blueberry, blackberry, olive. Palate still quite tannic, good fruit, roast meat, but not overdone. Yes, it's a tad warm for my palate - but no California oriented glop. Rustic, even smoky. Burly. But right for appelation. Not precisely in love, but I respect a lot, and like it.
