Thursday, December 20, 2012 - Popped this bottle and decanted... color was a deep red with a nice fruit coming off the top. It is a very young wine and could smell a bit of alcohol coming off the top as well as pencil shavings. We decided to put back in the bottle and loosely cork and tried it again a day later. Wow what a difference this made! The fruit was very good and the wine was very smooth on the palate. I probably wont pop another until next year. Bottom line, let this wine decant for a few hours and you will be rewarded.
