Wednesday, October 14, 2009 - I liked this one more than the group. Spice, black raspberry notes on the nose. The palate was a bit jammy and muddled but still had a lot of sweet fruit. Plenty of tannins left. I am not sure what the group didn't like as much about this wine. I thought it was in a great place. Lovely texture and complexity. Also some cofee and chocolate notes, especially on the finish.
