Sunday, October 13, 2013 - Salmon to orange in color, with medium (+) intensity. The nose is clean, with strawberry and peach aromas, medium (+) intensity. The palate is very dry, with medium (+) acidity. There's actually a hint of tannins. The polyalcohols are medium (-) but there's medium (+) minerality. The alcohol is a little elevated at 14.5%, but it is balanced out by the acidity and minerality. Good balance and medium (+) flavor intensity. Overall, this is a serious rose' that testes more like a light, cool-climate Pinot Noir than a white wine. Medium-bodied, with a nice, clean medium finish. Drink now, not intended for ageing.
