Thursday, January 23, 2014 - Beaujolais Trade Tasting 'The Glory of Gamay' with Tim Atkin MW (The Taj Hotel and Residences, Buckingham Gate, London, UK): This has to be one of the heaviest Chiroubles going! Nose of coffee and bitter chocolate, racy tang of acidity, raspberries and gooseberry even. Sappy, stemmy character, a whack of tannin which makes this full-bodied, red berries, pepper and spice.
