Thursday, October 8, 2009 - Very dark and opaque colour.Decanted and aired for 2 hours.Medium nose with dark fruit/berries and some spice and oak.The palate seemed initially quite peppery and edgy,but settled fortunately down,showing then medium smooth dark fruit,floral notes,pepper,hints of liquorice and a decent tannic grip on the finish.Good balance.Though not quite sure what to make of it in the long run.
