Saturday, April 5, 2014 - A bit hard to peg this wine. Somewhat ripe, but not overly ripe. Dark berries and spice. Moderate tannins, moderate acidity. Rich mouth feel from high alcohol, but doesn't come across as hot. A decent food wine that would probably pair well with tomato based sauces or hard cheeses.
