90 Points

Friday, November 16, 2012 - This serves up pretty aromas of poached pears, tropical fruits, citrus zest as well as some smoky minerals and warm buttery oak. Crisp and bright on the palate with a beautiful sleek texture backed by a nice touch of acidity which leaves your mouth watering. The grapes come from 50% Yamhill-Carlton, 50% Chehalem Mountains and were in 100% French Oak of which 24% was new for 16 months sur lies. Only 166 Cases produced so if you come across this it is worthy of your attention. (Best 2012-2017)
