Monday, August 30, 2021 - Appearance: ruby, well progressed to brick/tawny. Nose: old leather, Christmas cake, stewed black fruits, some spice, good oak, hint of eucalyptus.

Palate: medium to full bodied. Smooth texture. Lingering finish. Well integrated tannins.

The fruit has faded. For me this is still drinking okay but others will not like it and say it is past its best. Not as good as the 1990 I had recently but still very good.
