1997 Henschke Shiraz Hill of Grace

Thursday, February 20, 2020 - Wine in the Sunshine State; 2/20/2020-2/23/2020 (Florida): Pure class. Opened and decanted it for a few hours before pouring. From a mag and the wine is still quite young, but it was drinking very well. A nice elegance to the style here. More old school and yet you can get the benefit of the new world fruit. It's lovely.

    5/28/2021 2:13:00 PM - Hello,

I also have a mag of this wine and was thinking of opening it. Would you suggest waiting longer (i.e., holding off opening this wine), decanting (how long?) or PnP? If you can remember it...

    Thank you in advance,
    Jason

5/28/2021 6:24:00 PM - Thank you. I will hold off for a while. I only have this bottle and one .750 of 13 (which likely will outlive me). I'd like to drink it when it is peaking, and I do have other wines I can open.
