Friday, January 7, 2022 - Nice nose of already evolved chardonnay, salty, brioche, chalky, and with candied tangerine.

On the palate, the bubble caresses it with great discretion before the juice settles there, concentrated and dense like honey. The champagne opens directly with delicious flavors of candied fruit and mineral salts. The acidity, although low, remains well integrated and gives balance and freshness to this wine from a hot vintage in Champagne. The palate is still light for this dense and deep wine with a creamy texture, and it is a real pleasure to taste it. Nice salivating finish on chalk and tangerine on a fine but persistent length.

Excellent, elegant and at its peak in my opinion. To drink quietly while waiting for vintages like 2008.
