4/28/2024 8:59:00 PM - I believe that 2000 is an excellent, concentrated, and relatively small, vintage. I don't think it would be described it as light. I've not had a Dow's vintage port (from a strong vintage) that I'd describe as light - but bottle storage could impact that I'm sure. It is certainly drier than most vintage ports (which I like). However, I'm sure there are 2000 vintage ports from some producers that are lighter in style.
4/29/2024 4:15:00 AM - Thanks Pdad—appreciate the clarification and that makes sense with what I know if 2000 in the rest of Europe. I have not tried this Dow yet but the Adriano Ramos 2000 I tried was not as concentrated as I would expect. I’ll write it off to the producer or bottle. And maybe will open this Dow soon to compare.
