Saturday, August 12, 2017 - Deep dark center, red rim with modest signs of age.
Dense kirsch and boysenberry nose, blackberry jam, pepper, jalapeños.
Powerful, black plums and blackberries, strong tannins still, black pepper and green chilis, good length.
Great Syrah, California, drinks well now (with serious tannins still), might be better in 2 or 3 years.
