Wednesday, August 29, 2012 - Jammy black fruit nose, gamey/leathery/rustic notes on the palate initially followed by some brambly fruit and tannins on the finish. Not a small wine in any sense, but not as in your face as you might think. If you like Bonny Doon's Contra you'll like this. A fine California table wine. I wish more people would make wine like this here. Solid effort.
