Saturday, October 18, 2008 - Interesting nose. Very earthy, mineral, moss, dirt, very slight hints of floral tones, some banana. The wine lacks any sense of focus. In the mouth the wine is very light and smooth. Very easy drinking with no hard edges. Well balanced. The palate is earthy with some chocalote flavors. The finish is long, spicy and herbal. Excellent QPR and a great 87 pointer and can sit for another 7 years.
