Wednesday, February 28, 1990 - With MPL, BLR and Diane at LWB. Deep, dark ruby. Characteristic mint-eucalyptus nose. Some alcohol apparent. Good depth of fruit. On the palate, very herbal and tannic, but with good fruit. Bothersome woody note in the finish really is distracting. I hope it gets bettter than this. 5-9-13-7: 84/100.
