Sunday, September 23, 2012 - Needed at least 30 minutes in the decanter for it to come together. Very nice color just browning a little in the rim. Nose was mixture of smoke, mint and red fruit. Still quite tannic with good underlying acidity and the eucalyptus. Whatever left of the fruit was in a confectionary way which I dislike. Overall I found it quite hard and disjointed and lacking that charming california fruit to compliment.
