Sunday, August 7, 2022 - This was the best 85 Dominus I've had, and, surprisingly, one of the best from the 80s. More youthful than others, but still with some tannins, this bottle gave the impression that it might actually continue to improve for some years. Surprisingly aggressive for merlot, this wine might actually be just coming into its own, compared to later vintages where the merlot was blended out in favor of cabernet sauvignon.
