Wednesday, March 16, 2022 - Exceeded expectations! Full bodied. Touch tannic (esp wood) and strict but great creaminess. Shuts down hard on pouring - needs 2hrs decanting. Reminds me of a cross between 86 and 88 in style - tannic and dry but decent ripeness. A bit four-square but very classic. After extended air a lovely mint finish provides much needed refreshment. With a Sunday roast this would be perfect but note the aromatics are very muted so this is very much a quaffer
