Saturday, October 5, 2013 - Opaque purple/garnet appearance. Ripe black currants, black cherries, pencil shavings, and vanilla aromas and flavors are grounded by subtle, earthy and loamy elements. Full-bodied, dry, elegant and youthful, this gains traction mid-palate, picking up cocoa and graphite on the grippy finish. Another year in the bottle will round this out nicely.
