Friday, September 30, 2022 - Dark crimson/purple in the glass. Nose showed dark blue/black fruit, anise and scorched earth. This continued on the palate in a rich mouth coating manner. Finished long with noticeable but silky tannin. Twelve years in this still seems fresh and young. Will see if I can hold my last bottle another 6 years.
