Thursday, August 8, 2019 - Pretty impressive wine. On the nose, quite Burgundian, elegantly presented itself with nice complex features to it. If I blind tasted the wine, I may guess Pommard based on the nose. Darker purple fruits, mineral, some smokiness and meatiness, yet in the elegant way. On the palate, it was pretty structured with modest toffee, black roasted coffee, purple/dark cherries, herbs and smoked meat. Very unique Swiss Pinot Noir.
