Wednesday, April 15, 2020 - Writing this note because this wine, normally a regular quality and taste even though a good drinking wine for the price, blow my head of. The wine and cork stood the passing of time, and was exceptionally good with all its taste and aroma that could be mistaken for a wine 4x its price.
The wine looks garnet colored. The legs were medium. There was light sediment in the bottle, that for the age (9 years) was very good.
It smells like prune and black berry. The fruity character, and the aroma of cherries and slight touch of cacao were all there. With elegant taste, rounded and good body. And I'm not a Merlot fan, but this wine surprised me.
