Friday, November 27, 2015 - Slightly low score for how delicious this was due to the atypicality of a Raveneau this young. We were three bottles deep when we decided to commit infanticide. Shockingly, this was actually developed. If blind, I would have guessed at least 10 years older. Honeyed on the appearance, almost sweet on the nose. Palate was fresh but not lazer focused as anticipated. Already secondary notes of hazelnut and quince. Not sure if this was due to bottle variation or vintage. Have one more bottle to try and figure out.
