Saturday, March 21, 2020 - Fine Wine Dinner #1 (Barsac Wine Bar, Gothenburg): Initially a bit funky and almost pungent with wet wool, butter and nuts that mingle with herbs and some minerals. On the palate likewise a bit clumsy. With time in the glass gradually clears up and after 45 minutes this is really singing. Still very concentrated for a chabils but much more mineral and spice against a backdrop that is more or less crystal clear. Very long, spicy, herbal, almost tingling finish. Great wine!
