Sunday, February 10, 2013 - Green. This is not ready to be consumed. Notes of steel wool and shavings of rusted pipe. Soft but very prominent tannins blocked any flavor from comng through. Surprising given that many other Washington reds are drinking beautifully now. This was recommended by a LWS as a good value ($22-23). OUCH! Bad call. 60% cab, 24% merlot, 6% syrah, 6% cab franc, 4% malbec = 100% nothingness. Not sure what went wrong here, but nothing went right. I note that Wine Speculator gace this a 92. Enough said. Was tempted to try their 2008 Cab, but I think i'll pass.

2/12/2013 8:42:00 AM - This must be a love/hate wine or there are some bad bottles. Most reviews are very positive with a few neg. I will wait to try mine. I like their Syrah, but have not tried any BDX.
