Friday, February 24, 2023 - Opened (together with the Lancement) and decanted for ~1-hr before serving. Slight bricking hue at the edges, giving a clue that this had seen some cellar-age. A bouquet that had chocolate, blackberries, leather greeted the senses (quite different from the Lancement). Still tasted young on the palate, with ripe fruits nicely fleshed out & framed by good acidity (personally I had thought it'd even be better with just a tinge higher acidity). Most thought this was a more "complete" wine than the Lancement. This continued holding well thr' the evening, and will probably yield even more enjoyment as it continues to age...
