Long custard cream and bitter cherry finish. This is not a wine to jump into when you have a little palate fatigue as it's quite a challenge trying to get to grips with the broad complexity, but very enjoyable and certainly has novelty and rarity value. I've had better champagne, but possibly not one that had such a sense of occasion.
