Although my specific takes did not include some of the things he picked up, my general impression was very similar. Smells and tastes of modern right bank bdx. Would not have guessed Rioja in a blind tasting if I were allowed 5 guesses. Weird. Not a bad wine, but not at all what I was expecting or in the mood for.
