Sunday, August 28, 2022 - This is a great wine for what was a pretty dreadful vintage. Loads of black fruits, leather, menthol, baking spice, and warm alcohol on the nose. Some lovely development on the palate underpinned by plenty of black fruit - I think this could still run for a while yet. It perhaps lacks the body of a great year, but this is a terrifically priced wine that will reward the drinker over the next 5 or so years.
