Friday, December 7, 2012 - Ran it through a Vinturi then let it sit in the glass for 20 minutes or so. Delicious. A bit of plum with lots of leathery earth and just a tiny hit of brighter fruit initially, then transforming to smokier notes with medium tannins that grip your tongue in the most satisfying way during the fairly long finish. Had 2 glasses over 2 hours and thoroughly enjoyed each, though since I didn't decant the entire bottle I can't speak much to the transformation as they both received the same treatment of the aerator and sitting in the glass.
