Friday, February 5, 2016 - My first dry Furmint - very fragrant, a bit like a cross between Australian Riesling and gewürztraminer on the nose, citrus and spice. Quite weighty, but with good balancing acidity. Carries its 14.5% ABV well, not hot at all. Perhaps a little hollow in the mid palate, but complex rather than linear with a good length finish. Certainly different. I like it.
