Thursday, December 12, 2013 - Promising bouquet of blackcurrant, creamy black cherry and cedar. Good initial attack of the same, with a medium bodied, soft and inviting feel, but marred by a throat drying streak of rather cold, harsh tannins, right at the end of the finale. Aeration helps, but this is rather like many 1975 wines and I'm not confident the tannic streak will ever entirely disappear. I shall wait another five years and keep my fingers crossed.
