Friday, June 7, 2019 - Unfortunately these Bourgogne's are become scarcer and scarcer...but if you can find them...they are SUCH a joy! This 10 is drinking a little dirty...but not is a bad way...sous bois starting to show, earth mulch and mushroom forest...but still posses that trademark Bertheau vibrant cherry and strawberry fruits...elegant femininity...silky Chambolle feel, perfect light framed balance of mineral salinity and sweet red berry fruit...with subtleties of licorice, raspberry tea, tilled wheat field, strawberry jam. SO much joy in these simple Bourgogne's...makes you scratch your head that you would spend 10+ times the money on the more prestigious addresses???
