It was an undrinkable tight, tannic monster. Two years later, what a difference. A beautiful Bordeaux notes of tobacco and cherry and pepper. Well balanced palate, more cherry and a very spicy lingering finish of white pepper and anise. Lots of life remaining. Great value for the cellar.
