Saturday, June 13, 2015 - 4h after opening, the wine showed well (a bottle of this vintage tasted 4 years ago was undrinkable at first but came round beautifully after a few hours and was good next day).
Berries and plums on the pronounced nose. Very rich palate with a touch of raspberry ice cream at first. This soon gave way to dark cherries, plums, and cherry brandy. Spices were there throughout but difficult to identify ('all-spice'?). Soft leather tannins on the late palate.
Still good - Clos improves with age and lasts for well over a decade.
