Wednesday, December 17, 2014 - Nose was pretty closed down showing just a bit of pomegranate and roses. Even after 3-4 hours of decanting this was, essentially, a one-note wine with the pomegranate tone sticking around. The mouthfeel was the best part of this wine...tannins were soft and the body was very lightweight and airy.

12/17/2014 8:50:00 AM - thanks for the note, Tooch. i've got 3 yet to be delivered from Flickinger and I can't say I'm all that jazzed to get them after this note. I'll cellar them for 2-3 years (and more) and hope for the best. I have higher hopes for my '10s. cheers
