Sunday, April 14, 2013 - On the nose I get baked apple, pear and lemon. On the palate there are mineral notes as well as pear. The wine was done in 1/3 new French oak barrels for eight months and it shows ever so slightly. It is not an overly oaked chard. The oak is just a light note in a symphony of tastes and smells.
