Thursday, May 21, 2015 - I was on a bourbon kick all winter and drank very little wine. This week, with the last of our cool spring weather, I decided to open a few bottles with some rustic Italian and am quite pleased to say they revived my passion for wine. This and the 2012 Sottimano Dolcetto d'Alba Bric del Salto are everything I want in a wine- tasty, great acidity with a long finish. I will be sorry when the summer forces rose and whites on me.
