Sunday, August 9, 2015 - The 2000 Aldo Conterno Granbussia pulls you in with a bouquet of dried roses, ripe strawberry, dusty spice, undergrowth, and cedar. On the palate, it is powerful with a push and pull of tannin and acidity, yet still open and giving. Intense, tart red fruits and spice saturate the senses, leaving hints of savory herbs and wild berry through the finish. Enjoyable quite now, yet still youthful, with many years of development ahead, even with the ripeness of the vintage.
