Sunday, June 19, 2016 - I stand(sitting now) in awe of this wine. The most memorable part is the big, rich finish on the palate that just never ends. It leaves the mouth alive with just the right tang of the fruit. The nose had wonderful cherry, cinnamon spice followed by anise, and a rich cocoa that I do not usually associate with Barolo. At 15 years, this wine has really come together from beginning to end. The son was even impressed, but was only willing to give it a 94.
