Wednesday, January 30, 2008 - Tasting Group Dinner - Piedmont (Our House): Very ripe, intense dark berry fruit on the nose. The palate is equally intense yet impeccably balanced, bursting with ripe raspberry/blackberry fruit and flowers. The primal fruit masks a lot of tannin and structure. With air, this began to show quite a bit of new oak and an almost pruny, Amarone-like character. An infant. Declicious.
