Saturday, November 17, 2018 - Honestly took three hours in the decanter to open up. After an hour and again after two I feared a huge mistake, that it was actually deteriorating, that we should have pnp’d. But then a depth and sweetness emerged from a heaven within. On arrival finally it’s open, soft, and alert, forming a flavor and textural echo to the chickpea and lentil curried dal. Ridiculously darling. Like irresistible. One of those wines that clicks and then ... you’re captivated. Don’t know why but there’s something about this that leaves you as satisfied as a chocolate chip cookie.
