Monday, June 9, 2008 - Popped and poured. Light purple fading to dark ruby. Creme de cassis, lots of dill and some coconut on the nose. More concentrated and full bodied than the last bottle I had, with black cherry, creme de cassis and black currant on the palate. Dill influence is a little too strong on the finish, which I suspect is coming the oak (American oak?). Not bad, but since this was consumed rather quickly, I wish I had more time to evaluate with additional air time, as I suspect it would have benefitted from some breathing.
