Sunday, March 24, 2019 - 30 minute decant for this 2001 purchased on auction. Fair amount of crystallized sediment near the neck of the bottle indicates proper long term storage. Deep opaque garnet. Surprisingly big nose of blackberries, cedar and creme brûlée. Flavors are similar with a little dry rock, ash and cocoa. Medium to low tannins and medium plus acidity. Still has good life in it. About 91-92.
